HOW WE DO THINGS
Initially this may be conducted over the telephone with you, in order for us to understand the level of support you require
Our Registered Care Manager will arrange to meet you, or you and a relative in your home to conduct an assessment of your care or support needs
Once all the information gathered from the client’s initial assessment is collated a further meeting shall be arranged either by telephone or a face-to-face meeting to discuss and review in detail the proposed care, support package and associated costs for this
Once clients are happy with the devised care or support package and wish to start with our home help services, a data disc tag will be fitted in a position within the home, this data disc is put in place for care staff to scan on each and every visit proving attendance and duration of the visit, we will then arrange for appropriately experienced and fully qualified care assistants to undertake the package
Care and support workers are required to keep records of the activities they have undertaken and any other incidents that have arose, during a visit to a client,
all client records are kept confidential and secure within our electronic care software system, ONEPLAN
All company care staff are provided with an electronic handset, this is used to scan the data disc fitted inside the clients home and gives accurate care staff attendance data which is immediately sent back to our office team computer software, additionally all care tasks and notes etc are sent to and from this device so care staff know exactly what is to be done and will fill in notes about the visit, the client and any problems are instantly relayed to the office team.
If consent has been given by the client, we have a feature called “Family Login“where a family member can login to part of our system and see all care notes , times of visits etc , medication given etc, this offers great peace of mind as you can see it as it happens and feel reassured that the client is getting the support and care they need.
